How To Get More Twitter Followers.

Okay so, today i shall be telling you the story of a girl. She made scores of twitter accounts, changing names and descriptions in hopes that she would be able to get more followers. What she didn’t have, was some common sense and skill.

She has it now. My latest twitter account, IlqAhmed, has about 8K followers, give or take a hundred.

How? You ask. Very easy, I follow a few tips and tricks.

1. keep a cool username, bio/description and display picture.

Many won’t believe this matters, but it does. More often than not, when scrolling for random users to follow, people follow those with unique and cool names. Having an attractive display picture isn’t a bad thing either. Don’t go for celebrity pictures-that’s fake. You’re fake. You don’t show your real self, and what people want to see is the real you.

2. In your description, have hashtags like #IFollowBack #TeamFollowback etcetra. Hence and therefore, you shall turn up on search when people are looking for tweeps to follow.

3. Follow back everyone who follows you. That’s the major rule. Face it, unless you’re a mini Bieber or Swifty, people don’t care. So by following them back, you prevent the risk of showing up on sites  like manageflitter and justunfollow when your followers remove their unfollowers.

4.If you are someone who wants a large amount of following, but doesn’t want to follow that many people himself/herself, then you need to wait. Wait at least four months, then log onto manageflitter.com and look for those followers that haven’t been active for so long. More often than not, they have left that Twitter account, so won’t be able to unfollow you if you unfollow them.

5. There are manty Twitter accounts like TeamFollowBack and HitFollowsTeam etcetra. Usually, peple who follow these accounts are the “Follow back” tweeps. I suggest you open one of these follower lists and start following random people. Keep on following them for at least three days, so that they have a chance to log on and follow you, then using manageflitter, remove those who don’t by then end of the third day.

Why ManageFlitter? Because it is my favourite. I always use it. You should too, you’ll get my obsession with it.

6.Keep yourself in the top section of follow lists of the “followback” twitter accounts. Muddled? For example, you follow an account that promotes followers. In just a couple of days, so many new accounts will be following the promoting account that your account will go down in the list of followers of the Promoting account. More often than not, when people follow the fans of such accounts, they follow the first two or three hundred at most. You need to keep yourself in those two or three undred. So after a few days, unfollow and follow the promoting account again, so that your name stays in the top hundreds.

7. Tweet good stuff. What i mean is, the nigga and shit and bitch words are cool, they’re okay. If you don’t use them 24×7, that is. Go for good, go for quality, a good quote, a sensible sentence, you’ll be getting retweets and favourites soon enough.

8. Don’t criticise. For example, you take to Twitter to show your distaste for a certain man-boy named Bieber. All the girls and toddlers in love with the teen will be crushed-and mad. For the love of Biebs, they will unfollow you. So keep it cool, and don’t get harsh.

9. If someone retweets or favourites your tweets, thank them. If you aren’t following them, follow. Send them a thankyou comment. The best way is to RT or Quote or favourite one of their tweets. They’re happy, you’re happy. The end.

10. Follow celebrities. There are so so so many accounts that follow the followers of certain celebrities because they are huge fans. So that is an awesome and easy way to get followers and also get updates about your favourite stars.

What’s worth doing, is worth doing well.

I have no idea who originally quoted this. However, if someone asks me, this is the quote my dear father always bestows me with, when he wants to encourage me, and make me work on something with the vigour it should be worked with.

I am a very undecisive and moody person. Ask me, and you will come to know that i have made a billion blogs and websites, yet failed to keep even one of them up and going. So, with this first post, i hope and pray, that i may be able to change that.
